Sadolin Superdec provides a solution to most common issues associated with traditional paints. It can be applied to new and previously painted or stained surfaces, and is ideal for use where a complete change of colour is required or where the existing surface has become weathered and uneven in appearance.

Description

Sadolin Superdec Opaque Wood Protection

  • A self-priming, waterborne opaque coating system for exterior wooden surfaces
  • Perfect for all exterior joinery, including windows, doors and conservatories
  • Exceptional durability
  • Offers up to 8 years protection
  • Remains flexible and resists cracking, peeling and flaking
  • Dries to an opaque satin or gloss finish
  • Recoat 16-24 Hours

New or Bare Wood

  • Resinous deposits on bare timber, especially new wood, should be removed by wiping with a lint-free cloth dampened with methylated spirits
  • Knotting agents should not be used in conjunction with Sadolin Opaque Wood Protection
  • Sadolin Wood Filler or Sadolin Stainable Wood Filler may be used for making good any minor surface defects, imperfections or open joints
  • Some general or ‘All Purpose’ fillers may not be suitable
  • Only use non-ferrous fixings, screws and nails
  • Where there is a risk of extractive discolouration, especially when using white or pale colours on resinous / knotty softwoods and coloured hardwoods, an initial coat of a suitable blocking primer is recommended in order to minimise the risk of this type of discolouration
  • Timber that has been exposed for 4 weeks or more will require sanding back to a clean, sound surface
  • If required, pre-treat wood with Sadolin Quick Drying Wood Preserver before applying Sadolin Superdec
  • Lightly abrade (sand), in the direction of the grain to a smooth surface, using a medium grade abrasive paper
  • Do not break through the existing surface coating
  • Thoroughly remove all wood dust
  • Where there is localised damage, or deterioration has occurred as a result of exposure of the factory coating for longer than 3 months, affected areas should be thoroughly sanded back to a sound substrate and recoated

DELIVERY

  • A standard delivery costs £5.95 Including VAT
  • If your order comes to over £99 Including VAT then you will qualify for a FREE delivery
  • A standard delivery takes between 2 -7 Working days
  • A Special order for items such as Brian Yates takes 10 – 14 Working Days

If any items are out of stock or any circumstances change we will contact the customers promptly with further instructions.

RETURNS

All Wallpapers which are Specially Ordered items are non returnable no matter the quanitty or price involved, as non stock items come direct from the manufacturers themselves. Stock items may be returned within 28 days of purchase, anything over this period of time is non returnable. Items MUST be returned to us in perfect condition as it will then go back into stock to be re-sold, it is the customers responsabilityfor this and to return the goods to our store and stand any fee’s involved.

FAULTS

Before hanging any of the rolls check that they are undamaged, that the pattern and batch numbers are the same and that there is no colour variations or imperfections. Please ensure the product is hung by a proffesional decorator as the user must accept responsability once work has commenced.

In the event of a wallpaper fault Ace Decor must be informed within 30 days of recieving the goods to [email protected]detailing the fault and the quantity invoved, we will then contact the manufacturers, we will also require all the rolls with a fault on to be returned to ourselves along with a label for each faulty roll.

NO claim will be allowed for any wallcovering hung in excess of THREE DROPS.
